Every year, TEDGlobal puts on a conference to celebrate innovation, ingenuity and fresh perspectives from around the world. This year’s event, South!, will focus predominantly on Latin America and will take place from October 6-10 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The five-day event will cover twelve broad themes that each relate partially, if not entirely, to the development sector. Powerful talks will be given by a wide range of individuals, including political activists, favela painters, musicians, researchers, scientists, policy experts and urban planners.
To register for the event, you must apply for a membership to TEDGlobal. The cost to participate is $6,000 and includes 2014 conference attendance, year-long access to a web video archive of all conference presentations, online tools for social networking and priority registration in 2015.
